Hidden at the far end of the gardens, our swimming pool is a generously proportioned 10 metres by 5 metres and intended for family enjoyment, with bathrooms, showers, cabines for changing, and full bar and food service. Here, guests can take pleasure in a quintessentially Roman experience: swimming in a private pool within a walled garden in the heart of an Italian town.

Garden

Behind the Palazzo’s walls lies a garden the town never sees. It’s built around a baroque fountain, with secret pathways, natural arbors, and allées of fruit trees. Century-old palms, olive and fig, pomegranate, cypress, and Mediterranean pine ring the grounds; bougainvillea spills over the corners; and the beds run thick with rosemary, lavender, mint, and basil. The herbs, citrus, and vegetables grown here supply the kitchen. It is also where Sofia Coppola was married, in 2011, the year the restoration was completed.
