Honeymoon Experience at Palazzo Margherita
A three-night stay for newlyweds in Suite Eight, the Gia Suite, whose ceiling was painted for a wedding two centuries ago.
You arrive to a bouquet of flowers, a handful of confetti, the sugared almonds Italians have long given for luck and abundance, and glasses of Prosecco or Franciacorta. One evening, a candlelit dinner is set for the two of you, either in a quiet corner of the historic garden or in your suite, with a surprise dessert from the kitchen and whatever music you’d like to hear. The next morning, breakfast comes to you in the suite, in no hurry to end.
The three-night experience includes:
- Three nights in Suite Eight, the Gia Suite
- A welcome of flowers, confetti, and sparkling wine on arrival
- A private candlelit dinner for two, in the garden or your suite, with the chef’s dessert and music of your choosing
- Breakfast served privately in your suite
Why the Gia Suite:
When the Palazzo was still the Margherita family home, Giuseppe Margherita had local artisans paint this ceiling with Cupid and Psyche, a wish for his daughter’s happy marriage. The room has carried that wish ever since, and it’s the one we give to couples starting theirs.
